Description

Purchase tickets now for the Queensland Government’s 2017 White Ribbon Day Breakfast and show your support to end domestic and family violence.

White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity. White Ribbon Australia, as part of this global movement, aims to create an Australian society in which all women can live in safety, free from violence and abuse.

At the breakfast Channel 7 personality, Kay McGrath OAM will lead a panel discussion on the positive role men can play in preventing violence, the importance of teaching respectful attitudes and behaviours from an early age and how we educate today's youth to champion change for future generations.

Panellists include:

  • Katie Noonan, Singer, songwriter and artistic director
  • Peterson Opio, White Ribbon Australia
  • Linden Peacock, One Woman Project
  • Andrew Taukolo, YFS

The breakfast will also feature a special choral performance of You're the Voice by Brisbane State High School.
